I have known Joe for almost 8 years now, and have gone through 4 separate training sessions with him dating back to 2002. My first session was as a junior in high school. I was working hard at becoming a collegiate level baseball player, and although I had the dedication, my talent level wasn’t as high as everyone else’s. I heard about Joe from a newspaper article. After my first program with Joe, I found myself feeling stronger, being more flexible, and being just quicker than everyone who was catching up to me. I advanced to an all-conference, all area, and eventually first team Illinois Coaches Association all-state selection.
I went on to play baseball at Illinois Central College and then Eureka College where again I found myself matched up against superior athletes. My training with Joe had me heads and shoulders above some of my fellow players, and I was able to excel rapidly while others floundered. I truly believe that training with Joe made the difference and allowed me to be voted in as the NIIC Best Newcomer in 2005. I think Joe is a truly great person, but most of all he is an excellent traine His attention to detail is what makes him great. I have seen many athletes come in to the gym for the first time and have a scared look. Joe makes sure they lose that look fast. He ensures that they succeed.
His ideas on training allow anyone who works with him to see gains both mentally and physically in whatever sport they participate in. I strongly recommend Joe Terry to anyone looking to take their performance to the next level.
